We arrived late at night and were warmly welcomed by the staff. Our tiredness quickly faded as we settled into our comfortable and clean room. The best surprise was the delicious food at great value prices. We also enjoyed exploring the nearby village and taking in the beautiful scenery. I highly recommend this hotel for a pleasant stay.

I was walking the Camino Via Bayona and Hostal Hermanos Gutierrez was conveniently located right along the route. As a pilgrim, I received a warm welcome and found my room to be comfortable, clean, and cozy. I appreciated the net curtains that added a nice touch and helped hide the less picturesque views outside. The bar and restaurant, mainly serving drivers on the road, offered decent food. It was a great one-night stay, and if you wanted to stretch your legs, there were some nice tracks up the hills behind the hostal. Additionally, exploring the nearby village of Monasterio de Rodillo and the ermita de Nuestra Señora de Valle was a nice experience.
100% Recommend this hotel.

We had a wonderful stay at Hostal Hermanos Gutierrez. The accommodation was clean, comfortable, and provided plenty of hot water. Despite the language barrier, the staff were hospitable and kind. The location was convenient for us as we were walking the Camino Via Bayona, and the hostal was right on the route. The food, although limited in choice, was made with local produce and was delicious. it was amazing value for money and we would happily stay here again.
Not one thing! 🙂

This hidden gem offers warm hospitality and kind staff. It is conveniently located close to the port of Bilbao, allowing easy access to the bustling city and its attractions. The rooms are cozy, with comfortable beds and ample hot water in the clean bathrooms. The truck stop provides great value for money, with substantial homemade food and plenty of red wine.
Limited breakfast options.

Friendly staff
From the moment I walked in, the staff made me feel like a long-lost friend. They were as warm and welcoming as a cup of hot cocoa on a chilly winter's day. Their genuine smiles and helpfulness added an extra sprinkle of happiness to my stay.

The location of the hotel was great, right on the Camino Via Bayona. It was convenient for us as we were walking the route and needed a place to stay. the staff at the hotel were very welcoming and friendly, making us feel at home. The room we stayed in was clean, comfortable, and warm, which was perfect after a long day of walking.
The surroundings of the hotel were not the most appealing. It was located in a service area that felt semi-derelict, with not-so-pleasant views of either the busy N1 road or a car junkyard.

The rooms at Hostal Hermanos Gutierrez are amazing! Each room is equipped with a wardrobe and a flat-screen TV, making it feel like a home away from home. The private bathrooms are clean and convenient, and the bed linen and towels provided are of great quality. I felt so comfortable and cozy during my stay here.
The only thing I didn't really like was the tile/marble floor in the quadruple room. It felt a bit cold under my feet.
